Choosing this location was an act of balance 🗺️ We wanted to pick a place that’s not toooo far out, on the other hand we really wanted your kids to experience nature. 🌎 And now, we’ve got it: Discover our unique ASC base nestled in the green hills around Bensafrim, just a short drive from Lagos 📍 This peaceful inland retreat offers the perfect balance between nature adventures and quick access to the best surf beaches of the Atlantic coast 🌊

Why we chose to come here
We chose this spot in the hills of Bensafrim because it represents the true Algarve 🇵🇹 Away from the crowded tourist strips, we found a sanctuary defined by pure nature and ancient trees 🌳 What we value most is the absolute safety and peace—there are simply no other people around, just the sound of the wind 🍃 We don’t just run the camp here; we live here as well, sharing our daily life in this hidden paradise with you 🏠✨
Is it safe to get here?
Absolutely! The ASC is tucked away in the hills, 3 km from Bensafrim via a typical Portuguese dirt road 🗺️ Yes, it’s bumpy, but perfectly doable for any normal car if you take it slow 🐢 Remember: you don’t get an authentic outdoor camp next to a noisy highway 🛣️ The prize for the dusty ride is total peace, safety, and a true nature experience far from the crowds 🌲✨

The answer is a resounding yes! The Algarve Summer Camp (ASC) is located in a sanctuary where safety is our natural foundation 🌳 For 4 years, we have conducted this bilingual experience without a single place or people-related incident 🚫 That’s because we don’t just „operate“ here—this location is a dedicated school project throughout the year, meaning it is a space built for children, learning, and growth 📚✨
The ASC base near Bensafrim is far away from the typical tourist hustle 🗺️ There are no strangers passing by and no busy traffic to worry about. We live here as well, so we know every tree and every corner of this land 🏠🌵 Our track record of 4 successful years shows that our „middle of nowhere“ location is actually the safest place to be. You get total privacy, a secure environment for the kids to explore, and the peace of mind that comes with a tried-and-tested project 🌲🛡️
